Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide detectives were investigating the death Wednesday of a Palmdale woman whose husband found her fatally stabbed, deputies said.

Daniel Bonachea, 33, called the Antelope Valley sheriff’s office about 8:20 a.m. to report that he found his wife, Barbara Bohn, 46, dead in a hallway of a house they used as an office about half a mile from their residence, Deputy Larry Mead said. The woman had been stabbed several times in the neck, deputies said.

Bonachea was being questioned by detectives Wednesday evening at the station, but he was not a suspect, deputies said.

The couple operated a computer software business from the house in the 1400 block of Springline Drive in Palmdale, Mead said. Bonachea’s wife had left the couple’s residence before he did Wednesday morning to go to their office, Bonachea told authorities.
