THE SIDELINES : Hull Leads in All-Star Balloting

NEW YORK —
Right wing Brett Hull of the St. Louis Blues, the leading scorer in the NHL with 24 goals, also leads in All-Star game balloting with 172,760 votes.
Hull and Los Angeles teammates Wayne Gretzky with 103,915 votes and Luc Robitaille with 74,914 are the leaders for the Clarence Campbell Conference forward line.
On defense, the leading Campbell vote-getters are Chris Chelios of the Chicago Blackhawks with 90,572 and Al MacInnis of the Calgary Flames with 78,911. Calgary’s Mike Vernon leads the Campbell goalies with 59,669.
