THE SIDELINES : Bobby Ross Named Coach of Year

NEW HAVEN, Conn. —
Bobby Ross of unbeaten Georgia Tech was named college football Coach of the Year by the Walter Camp Foundation today.
The team, with a 9-0-1 record, is ranked second in the Associated Press poll, and is heading for the Citrus Bowl--its first New Year’s Day bowl appearance in 25 years.
The voting was done by college coaches and college sports information directors.
