HOLLYWOOD PARK : Go And Go to Make Debut Under Lukas
Go And Go, the Irish import who ran away with the Belmont Stakes in June, will make his West Coast debut and first start for trainer D. Wayne Lukas in Saturday’s $100,000-added Native Diver Handicap at Hollywood Park.
The chestnut colt, who was eased in last month’s Breeders’ Cup Classic at odds of 6-1 and finished last, was among a field of eight entered in the Grade III stakes to be contested at 1 1/8 miles on Hollywood Park’s main track.
Owned by Ireland’s Mayglare Stud Farm, Go And Go was sent to the Lukas barn after his disappointing performance in the $3-million Classic.
The field and weights: Double Quick, 115; Rial, 122; Edipo Rey, 116; Pleasant Tap, 115; Festin, 119; Good Taste, 115; Warcraft, 117; Go And Go, 115.
