What’s So Bad About USC Basketball?

Share

So, after handily defeating Chicago State in his basketball opener, USC Coach George Raveling admits he’s not sure what his team gains with games like that. Based on some of the other teams the Trojans face this year, it’s clear to me what he gains. With almost certain victories over upcoming opponents such as Brooklyn College, Augusta, Harvard and, of course, traditional rival Cal State Northridge, the coach is trying to finally achieve a winning season in the last year of his contract.

As a UCLA fan, I hope he succeeds. I, for one, would love to see four more years of George (Raveling, not Bush).
