National Technical’s Net Income Up 9% for Quarter

National Technical Systems Inc., a Calabasas company that provides testing and technical services to aerospace and nuclear power companies, said its net income for the third quarter ended Oct. 31 increased 9% to $257,000 from $236,000 a year earlier. The company’s sales for the quarter grew 11% to $8.41 million from $7.6 million last year.

For the nine months ended Oct. 31, National Technical Systems’ net income dropped 11% to $670,000 from $749,000 in 1989. The company’s sales for the first three quarters grew 3% from $23 million last year to $23.8 million this year.
