New Orleans Saint linebacker Pat Swilling had three sacks in two games against the Rams last season and will be a threat to quarterback Jim Everett when the teams play Sunday.

“People are learning ways of blocking that kind of player,” Coach John Robinson said. “You have to be in a position as a team so that when you face one of those speed guys coming from the outside, you can say, ‘This guy ain’t gonna do it, he ain’t gonna hurt us.’ And you can take those steps.

“We do that with everyone in this league except Swilling. What did he have last year, six sacks?”
