Show Will Go On: The daughters of slain civil-rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and black activist Malcolm X have decided to keep a scheduled date to perform in a musical play at the University of Arizona on Sunday. Last month, Arizona voters rejected a referendum that would have created a paid state holiday honoring King. The vote triggered a nationwide reaction. A spokesman said Wednesday that Yolanda King and Attallah Shabbazz, daughter of Malcolm X, would perform their musical play, “Stepping Into Tomorrow.”
