Just wanted to drop a note in praise of one of your sportswriters, Mike Downey. He is simply brilliant.

Every word, every phrase, every paragraph always seems to be right on. He is a sheer joy to wake up to in the morning. As a former reader of the Herald Examiner, I can honestly say that because of Mr. Downey, I don’t miss that paper. Continued success to him from a sincere fan.
