PAPEETE, Tahiti —
The environmental group Greenpeace insisted Monday that it had found indications of radioactive leaks from France’s nuclear test site 12 miles off the south Pacific island of Mururoa, although France disputed the report. Greenpeace said tests conducted last week had produced traces of radioactive cobalt 60 and caesium 134.
