El Toro Man Killed When Car Hits Palm
IRVINE —
An El Toro man was fatally injured Tuesday when his car crashed into a palm tree, police said.
Hong Baek, 65, drove his 1989 Toyota Camry into the tree on Alton Parkway and Ada at about 4 p.m., Police Lt. Mike White said.
Baek was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where he was pronounced dead.
A coroner’s representative said the cause of death has not been determined pending an autopsy.
