A 22-year-old Anaheim man was being held without bail Sunday in connection with a Dec. 8 stabbing incident that left one man dead and another injured during a Yorba Linda party attended by hundreds of high school students.

Dennis Scott Kidd, who was named in a warrant as an accessory to murder, was arrested at 9 p.m. Saturday.

Earlier last week, Richard Velasco, 19, of Anaheim was arrested on suspicion of stabbing the two men. One of them, Ty Aaron Stout, died of his wounds.

“Kidd is believed to have aided, concealed and harbored the murder suspect,” Detective Clyde Wason of the Brea Police Department said.

Police arrested Kidd without incident in a car at an intersection near the 200 block of Starling Way in Anaheim.

No other suspects are being sought in the case, Brea police said. Kidd, who is being held in the Orange County Jail, is expected to be arraigned today or Tuesday.
