Nation IN BRIEF : NATIONWIDE : Most Favor Cleanup Taxes, Poll Finds

Most Americans are willing to pay an additional $200 a year in taxes to help clean up the environment, but many are confused over how to attack the problem, a new poll found. Seventy percent said they would be willing to pay the $200, according to the Time magazine and Cable News Network survey. Eighty percent agreed it is “sometimes confusing to know what to do” about environmental problems.
