Japanese Word Processors to Be Probed: The Commerce Department will investigate whether Japan is dumping--selling below cost--personal word processors into the United States, the International Trade Commission said. Personal computers are not included in the probe. The Commerce Department pursues an investigation when the ITC determines there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured or threatened with material injury due to dumping.
