A Seattle judge declared a mistrial in the second-degree assault case against Dion Brown, the University of Washington’s leading scorer and captain. Brown, 22, a 6-foot-5 senior forward from Crenshaw High, was charged with beating a man who asked for his help in restraining a car prowler in Seattle last July.
