Robert M. Kreek, president of Fox Cable Programming, has been named president and chief executive of Comedy TV, the new cable-TV comedy channel owned jointly by Time Warner Inc. and Viacom International. The creation of Comedy TV, which was formed by the merger of Time Warner’s Comedy Channel and Viacom’s Ha! cable network, was announced Tuesday. Kreek, a former president of Fox Television Stations, will report to an eight-member board composed of an equal number of representatives from the parent companies. He will relocate to New York from Los Angeles.
