Peller to Head Rockwell Defense Center

John B. Peller has been appointed president and center director of Rockwell International Corp.’s Strategic Defense Center in Seal Beach.

He also will serve as a member of the corporation’s senior management council.

Peller, who joined Rockwell in 1961, was most recently vice president and associate center director.

He succeeds George W. Jeffs, who will retire March 31 after more than 43 years with the company.

Until his retirement, Jeffs will serve as a senior vice president and adviser.
