GARDEN GROVE : School Board Selects President
The Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education unanimously selected Kenneth Slimmer as president last week.
Slimmer, an attorney, succeeds Maureen DiMarco. He was first elected to the board in 1975 and has also served as a Garden Grove planning commissioner and Garden Grove personnel commissioner.
Joyce Johnson, a retired teacher elected to the board in 1979, was selected as the board’s vice president.
