Well Well Well Wins at Aqueduct
Well Well Well led throughout and held on in the final yards to win the $87,450 Bertram F. Bongard Stakes by a head Sunday at Aqueduct.
Well Well Well, ridden by Diane Nelson and carrying 117 pounds, covered 1 1/16 miles on the muddy track in 1:46 3/5 and paid $12.20 to win, $3.80 to place and $2.40 to show.
All Smarts, ridden by Craig Perret, finished second in the eight-horse field, a neck ahead of Ambassador In Love, who carried top weight of 122 and was ridden by Angel Cordero Jr.
