Man, 26, Killed When Car Skids Into Pole

An Arleta man was killed when his car skidded out of control and struck a utility pole on Foothill Boulevard in Tujunga, Los Angeles police reported.
He was identified as Martin Earl Hopson, 26, Officer Michael Pond said. Ice was not believed to be a factor in the accident Sunday night, Pond said.
