Almost six months after the World Cup, soccer hero Roger Milla is still receiving honors worthy of a prince. In fact, he is becoming a prince.

Milla, 38, who led tiny Cameroon to the World Cup quarterfinals, traveled today to the province of Kumba to be named a prince by the traditional chiefs of the tribe “for services rendered during the World Cup 1990.”

After the ceremony, Milla was scheduled to go to Nigeria, where he will receive another honor from a rich businessman.
