‘Godfather’ Shoot-Out: A New York teen-ager arrested in connection with a fatal shooting during a showing of “The Godfather Part III” was shot and wounded when he tried to escape late Sunday, police said. Norman Williamson, 18, was shot in the left hip a few minutes after he tried to escape arresting officers outside a Long Island roller rink. Williamson allegedly took part in a shoot-out at the Sunrise Cinemas in Mineola, N.Y., on Christmas night that left one bystander dead and three others wounded. Tremain Hall, 15, of Queens, was fatally wounded after an argument erupted between two groups of moviegoers who accused each other of talking during the film. Williamson and another youth, Lawrence Bartley, 17, were charged with reckless endangerment and weapon possession, but not murder, because detectives were unable to determine who fired the fatal shot. Twenty-five bullets were recovered at the theater.
