NATION : Tartikoff Seriously Hurt in Crash
NBC Television executive Brandon Tartikoff was in intensive care at Washoe Medical Center today with injuries from a New Year’s Day car crash near his Lake Tahoe home.
“He is currently in serious but stable condition with multiple fractures,” said Sue Binford, vice president of media relations for NBC Entertainment in Burbank. “I don’t know the details. His daughter, Calla, was also seriously injured,” she said.
Hospital officials would not immediately release information on either Tartikoff.
The accident occurred about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Glenbrook Drive.
The Nevada Highway Patrol said Tartikoff, 41, was driving a 1988 Jeep and was attempting to make a left turn when his vehicle was struck by another Jeep driven by Stephen James Manos, 18, of Westlake, Calif., who was not injured.
