South Pasadena : Public Works Head Sought
The city is searching for a public works director to replace Eduard Schroder, who has resigned.
Schroder, who had served in the position since February, 1988, left in late December to become a project development engineer for the city of Long Beach. Schroder, 38, said his move was motivated by greater opportunities in Long Beach but added that he enjoyed his tenure in South Pasadena.
City Manager John Bernardi said a consultant, George Boghossian, has been retained as acting public works director until a permanent replacement can be hired.
