Irvine’s ‘Contagious Disease of Committee-itis’ Is Diagnosed
I was mildly surprised to see the editorial recommending that cities retire useless committees as a way to save scarce revenue. You showed your stripes almost immediately by advocating the retention of Irvine’s ridiculous International Affairs committee.
That is just exactly the kind of nonsense the voters rejected along with former Mayor Larry Agran in the last election. Boycotting coffee a necessary city function? Get real.
