Street-Sale Price of Sunday Paper Will Increase

Effective with the editions of Sunday, Jan. 13, the single-copy price of the Sunday Los Angeles Times will be $1.25.

The price change, the first since 1983, will be effective in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego and Ventura counties, and in parts of San Bernardino, Riverside and Santa Barbara counties. Other designated areas may be higher.

The new price reflects higher distribution and production costs, as well as investment in editorial improvements. The single-copy price for daily editions will remain the same. Home delivery subscription rates will not change.
