Love Him Tender: Hard Rock Cafes around the globe will celebrate what would have been Elvis Presley’s 56th birthday today. At Los Angeles’ Hard Rock in the Beverly Center, anyone dressed like the King will be served Elvis’ favorite meal, pork chops and French fries, on the house. Elvis tunes will play all day. At the Las Vegas cafe, a shrine to Elvis will be on display featuring the singer’s gold lame stage suit and the gates to Graceland.
