ANAHEIM : Seniors May Apply to Serve on Panel
Seniors interested in becoming involved in civic affairs may apply for a position on the Anaheim Senior Citizen Commission, which has a vacancy.
The position is open to Anaheim residents, 60 years and older, who hold no other paid city government post.
The seven-member board meets every second Thursday of the month to discuss the city’s senior community and makes recommendations to the City Council about the various programs and services offered.
Those interested may submit a letter to the city clerk’s office.
