The Sidelines : Snow Wins Soccer Prize--Again

Indiana defender Ken Snow has been awarded college soccer’s top prize, the second time in three years that he received the honor.

Snow, the only Indiana University athlete to be selected All-American four times, became the first two-time winner of the Missouri Athletic Club Collegiate Soccer Player of the Year Award.

Snow accumulated 384 total points and 77 first-place votes in voting by 1,100 college soccer coaches.

Jeff Agoos, senior defender for the University of Virginia, was second with 269 points and 45 first-place votes. Kasey Keller of the University of Portland was third with 202 points and 23 first-place votes.

Snow also won the award in 1988 after his sophomore season and finished second in voting last year behind Virginia goalkeeper Tony Meola.
