Limited Inc. has appointed Howard Gross president of Limited Stores. He moves up from president of Limited’s Victoria’s Secret Stores division.

Chairman Leslie H. Wexner said Grace Nichols will replace Gross as president of Victoria’s Secret Stores. She has been executive vice president and general merchandise manager of Limited’s lingerie division.

Gross succeeds Verna Gibson, who decided to leave the business.

Limited operates 3,859 stores under the names Lerner New York, Limited Stores, Lane Bryant, Express, Victoria’s Secret, Structure, Limited Too, Abercrombie & Fitch, Cacique, Henri Bendel, Victoria’s Secret Bath Shops, Bath & Body Works and Penhaligon’s.
