Burke Sues: “Designing Women” co-star Delta Burke has filed a lawsuit against the show’s producers, claiming she was written out of an episode and denied pay in retaliation for an on-going dispute. Burke, who plays Suzanne Sugarbaker on the CBS sitcom, alleges in her suit filed Wednesday that she was barred from appearing in the Nov. 9, 1990, episode and not paid her guaranteed $55,000 per show. She sued Columbia Pictures TV Inc. and producers Harry Thomason and Linda Bloodworth-Thomason.
