FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Artesia: Westbound off-ramp at Pioneer Boulevard; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; landscaping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

2. Commerce: Southbound off-ramp at Washington Boulevard; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail and fence repair.

3. South Gate: Northbound on-ramp from eastbound Firestone Boulevard; Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

4. Various Cities: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from the Santa Ana Freeway (5) to the Los Angeles River; Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; sweeping.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. Montebello: Westbound No. 4 lane from the Greenwood Avenue overcrossing to Markland Boulevard, plus the Markland Boulevard off-ramp; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

6. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Findlay Avenue to Garfield Avenue, plus the Garfield Avenue off-ramp; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

7. Long Beach: Southbound on-ramp at Woodruff Avenue; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; fence repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

8. Industry: Southbound on-ramp at Peck Road; Monday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; landscaping.

9. Industry: Southbound No. 4 lane from Peck Road to Rose Hills Road, plus the Peck Road on-ramp; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; tree trimming.

10. Industry: Northbound on-ramp at Rose Hills Road; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

11. Terminal Island: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes at the Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Drawbridge; Monday and Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.
