SIMI VALLEY : Woman Found Slain in Car at Bank
A woman found dead in a car parked at a bank in Simi Valley on Tuesday apparently was the victim of a homicide, police said.
A passer-by spotted the body of the woman, who has not been identified, in the passenger seat of a blue 1988 Mercury parked at the Valley Federal Savings and Loan at 2390 Tapo St. at 3:15 p.m., Lt. Neal Rein said.
Coroners determined that the woman, in her early to mid-40s, died of head and neck injuries. An autopsy is scheduled this morning.
