2 Pistol-Whipped During Robbery
Three gunmen handcuffed and pistol-whipped an employee and a customer at a Sherman Oaks cellular phone store Thursday before escaping with $12,000 worth of merchandise and cash, Los Angeles police said.
Robbers with semiautomatic pistols entered Cal Cel in the 14000 block of Ventura Boulevard about 3:45 p.m. “and ordered all employees and customers to the ground,” Sgt. Rick Shields said. They pistol-whipped two victims and fled with cash and cellular phones, he said. The victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
