The American Rose Society, an organization of more than 18,000 rose hobbyists, is urging Americans to don a yellow rose until American troops return from the gulf. “We’re encouraging the folks at home to wear the rose to show their concern for our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines,” said F. Harmon Saville, a regional director.
