FREEWAY REPAIRS : Caltrans Issues Motorists’ Advisory

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. Carson: Northbound No. 4 lane from 220th Street to Carson Boulevard, plus the 220th Street off-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; guard rail repair.

2. San Pedro: Westbound No. 2 lane on the Terminal Island separation from Pacific Avenue to Harbor Boulevard near the Vincent Thomas Bridge; noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday; sign repair.

3. San Pedro: Eastbound No. 1 and 2 lanes on the Terminal Island separation from Seaside Avenue to the Pacific Avenue overhead; 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; guide markers.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Long Beach: Southbound No. 1 lane from Wardlow Road to the Willow Street over crossing; 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday; sign repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 6 lane from Atlantic Boulevard to Mednik Avenue, plus the Atlantic Boulevard on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday; grinding and patching.

6. Various Cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes from Indiana Avenue to Azusa Avenue; 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; sweeping.

7. East Los Angeles: Westbound No. 1 lane at Euclid Avenue; 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday; sweeping.
