Motorcyclist Dies After Crash With Car in Fog
A 30-year-old motorcyclist was fatally injured in Reseda on Friday when he collided with another vehicle in heavy early morning fog, Los Angeles police said.
Shon Michael McCall of Reseda died of his injuries at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, Officer Gil Ramos said.
McCall was riding south on White Oak Avenue near Saticoy Street about 6 a.m. when a car made a left turn in front of him from a private driveway, Ramos said. The driver of the auto, Melvin Harris, 36, of Fontana was not injured.
The accident was under investigation but heavy fog could have been a contributing cause, Ramos said.
