Coupon Book Offers Discounts in Florida

Alamo Rent A Car is offering an Alamo Florida Coupon Book of statewide attractions through April 30, 1992, to car renters at its 17 Florida locations.

The book contains 48 discount coupons and, if all the coupons are used, can total more than $1,000 in savings. In addition, four to six people can use many of the coupons.

For example, there’s $25 off a full-day SeaEscape “Cruise To Nowhere” and $10 off a half-day sailing for up to four people. Total potential savings from the coupon is $100. SeaEscape operates mini-cruises out of Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Tampa.

Coupons are also offered for a steamboat river cruise on the St. Johns River, and sightseeing on Jungle Queen cruises in Greater Fort Lauderdale.

On a statewide basis, Club Nautico offers 20% off full-day rentals of powerboats, Monday through Friday. Also, there are discounts at 150 Florida Professional Golf Assn. golf courses.

Miami-area coupons include the Gold Coast Railroad, Miami Metro Zoo, Seaquarium, Monkey Jungle, Vizcaya Museum and Weeks Air Museum.

In Orlando, coupons cover Church Street Station, an entertainment-dining-shopping complex; the Mystery Fun House, and the Wet and Wild park. Kissimmee coupons offer an Arabian Nights dinner show and the Water Mania amusement park.

Other central Florida coupons cover Sea World; Cypress Gardens; Silver Springs, featuring Jeep safaris and glass-bottom boats; the Fort Liberty dinner show; Fun and Wheels; King Henry’s Feast; Little Darlin’s Rock and Roll Palace; Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament, and Mediterranean Village. Coupons are also in the book for champagne ballon rides over Disney World and video camera rentals.

In St. Augustine, discounts are offered to the Cross and Sword outdoor drama, Oldest Store Museum, Potter’s Wax Museum, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!, Olde St. Augustine Sightseeing Trains, and Zorayda Castle, a reproduction of the Alhambra Castle in Spain.

Other attractions include Butterfly World in Coconut Creek; the Florida Sports Hall of Fame, Lake City; Larry’s Zoological Park, Naples, and the Sunken Gardens and a Salvador Dali art collection, St. Petersburg.
