In another Orange League game:
Valencia 8, Western 1--Joel Camarena, Uli Perez and Gary Thompson each had two goals for host Valencia (8-8-3, 5-1-1). Steve Johnson and Ryan Wilson each scored one. It was the first goal of the season for Wilson, a sophomore in his first year on the varsity. Matt Labhart had five assists for the Tigers.
Samir Aqaza scored a goal for Western (2-10-2, 0-5-2).
In the Angelus League:
Bishop Amat 1, Santa Margarita 0 (OT)--Mario Lucio scored 13 minutes into overtime for visiting Bishop Amat (2-4-1 in league).
Servite 1, St. John Bosco 0--Barclay Harty scored with 20 minutes remaining for visiting Servite (4-12-3, 2-5). St. John Bosco is 11-5-3 and 5-2.
In the Century League:
El Modena 2, Santa Ana Valley 1--Ryan Bakhtiari and Nghi Nguyen scored first-half goals to lead El Modena (9-1-3, 4-1-2) at Santa Ana Valley.
Foothill 1, Canyon 0--John Jacobs scored 20 minutes into the game for the hosts. Jason Vlcek had seven saves for Foothill (8-4-7, 3-0-4), and Chris Snitko had 11 for Canyon (10-8-1, 3-4-0).
Orange 1, Villa Park 0--Marcelo Sandoval scored 25 minutes into the first half for visiting Orange (13-2-4, 6-0-1). Eric Jaime had two saves and Juan Ramirez one for Orange. Robert Bowman had six saves for Villa Park (0-17-0, 0-7).
In the Freeway League:
Sunny Hills 3, Fullerton 1--Enrico Pietrantonio, Greg Schank and Jason Fichtelberg scored for host Sunny Hills (12-4, 6-1). Ryan Farnsworth scored for Fullerton (3-12-3, 2-4-1).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Laguna Hills 1, Trabuco Hills 1--Brian Beaman scored for host Laguna Hills (11-5-3, 4-0-3). Dave Haymes scored for Trabuco Hills (7-7-4, 2-2-3).
Costa Mesa 2, Laguna Beach 1--Ryan White scored a 45-yard shot in the first half and Duby Ospina scored with one minute left on a breakaway for visiting Costa Mesa (9-4-3, 3-2-2).
In the Sea View League:
Saddleback 4, Tustin 2--Jose Escudero scored three times and Paal Ertzaas once for host Saddleback (12-2-4, 3-1-3). Walter Miranda and Flavio Bernal each scored for Tustin. Jose Mesa had four saves for Saddleback and Albert Ewings had seven saves for Tustin.
In the Sunset League:
Santa Ana 3, Huntington Beach 0--Miguel Abarca, Gustavo Plasencia and Ralph Serrano each scored for host Santa Ana (12-5-2, 8-1-1), which clinched the league title.
Marina 1, Ocean View 0--Keith Martin scored with five minutes left on a cross from Dan Armstrong for the hosts. Larry Nye had nine saves for Marina (12-7-1, 5-3-1), and Josh Page had three saves for Ocean View (13-6-3, 4-4-2).
