Chrysler Boosts Rebates, Cuts Financing Rates: The company said it is doubling cash rebates on selected 1991 models and cutting finance rates on all vehicles except minivans under a program that runs through March 31. Rebates on Chrysler Imperial, New Yorker Fifth Avenue and the LeBaron sedan, as well as the Plymouth Acclaim and Dodge Spirit sedans, have been doubled to $1,000. Chrysler lowered its annual financing rates on all vehicles except minivans to 5.9% for one- to 24-month loans, 7.9% for 25-month to 36-month loans, 8.9% for 37-month to 48-month loans and 9.9% for 49-month to 60-month loans.
