The Sidelines : Fullerton Reaches Poll’s Top 25
Virginia and Penn State remained 1-2 for the third straight week in the Associated Press women’s basketball poll, and Cal State Fullerton (16-4) broke into the top 25 for the first time since the 1976-77 season.
Cal State Fullerton (16-4) was ranked 24th. The Titans could have problems staying in rankings this week with Big West games at No. 17 UNLV tonight and at Long Beach State Thursday.
Georgia (19-2) moved up a spot to third. Last week the Bulldogs won at Tennessee, beat Florida State at home and won at Kentucky.
