General Automation Inc.: The Anaheim computer company reported second-quarter net income of $104,000, contrasted with $23,000 for the corresponding period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 rose 40% to $11.6 million from $8.3 million. For the first six months of fiscal 1991, the company lost $356,000, contrasted with net income of $77,000 in the year-earlier period, which included an extraordinary gain of $680,000. Six-month sales increased 38% to $23.9 million from $17.3 million. The fiscal 1991 figures include the results of SGA Pacific Ltd., which is now 51% owned by General Automation.
