Port Commissioner Lynn Schenk was reappointed Monday by the San Diego City Council to the agency that controls tidelands around San Diego Bay. Schenk, the third woman ever to hold a seat on the seven-member Board of Port Commissioners, is scheduled to serve until Jan. 2, 1995.
Schenk was appointed to the Port Commission Jan. 23, 1990, to fill the 11 months remaining in the term of Louis Wolfsheimer.
San Diego has three seats on the San Diego Unified Port District board, and the cities of Chula Vista, Coronado, National City and Imperial Beach have one each.
