WORD UP: Acoustic tours are in, dude! Tesla is having a surprise success with its Top 10-bound “Five Man Acoustical Jam” album, which was culled from a series of acoustic dates the band played last year. So who’s next? How ‘bout Hall & Oates, who start an all-acoustic tour tonight in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. The seven-week jaunt, which will feature cover tunes as well as new and old H&O; songs, arrives in L.A. March 25 and 26 at the Wiltern Theatre. . . . Meanwhile, EP’s are back too--and not just among rap groups. Thrash-rock bad boys Anthrax have just finished up a new seven-song EP called “Attack of the Killer B’s.” Due out in early May, the record features a dance version of the band’s hot track, “I’m the Man,” live versions of “Belly of the Beast” and “Keep It In the Family,” a pair of new originals and a slammin’ cover version of Public Enemy’s “Bring the Noise.” . . . And how’s this for an unanticipated reunion? Bloodwyn Pig is getting back together, with original members Mick Abrahams (who later joined Jethro Tull), Clive Bunker and Andy Pyle. Yawn!
