CNN Evacuated in Bomb Threat

ATLANTA — The Headline News service of Cable News Network briefly went black Monday as more than 2,500 people were evacuated in a bomb threat at the CNN complex.

Bill Shaw, head of security, said it was not CNN’s first bomb threat since the Gulf War began, but it was the first “we took seriously.”
