Byproduct of Protests

I think it is reprehensible enough that Operation Rescue is breaking the law and that their goal is to intimidate and harass women, but one of the side effects bothers me immensely.

In Glendale and Pacoima on Jan. 12, Operation Rescue assembled between 50 and 100 cars on a Saturday.

Pro-choice people obviously have to go out and defend those clinics, and they had over 200 cars.

Nobody cares about the environmental impact of these cars driving around on Saturday morning, creating much more smog, which L.A. has enough of. It bothers me tremendously and I wonder when Operation Rescue is going to be stopped. I know that people are entitled to drive around, but their intent is to break the law.

Maybe the South Coast Air Quality Management District could get involved.
