Decomposed Body Found in Ramona
An unidentified partially decomposed body was found in a brushy area of Ramona Friday evening, according to sheriff’s officials.
Two motorists discovered the dead man at the 11-mile marker on Wild Cat Canyon Road, near a dirt turn-out, said Sgt. Jim Cooke of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.
The partially-clad body, wrapped in a carpet fragment, had gunshot wounds to the head, Cooke said.
Neither the dead man’s identity nor his age have been determined.
