Navistar International Corp.: For the first quarter ending Jan. 31, the company recorded a net loss of $38 million, compared to a net loss of $18 million for the year-earlier period. Revenue was $842 million, a 5% drop. The Chicago-based manufacturer of medium and heavy trucks said the continuing decline in industry demand for trucks and for diesel engines, as well as higher cost of new labor agreements, accounted for the losses.
