A 28-year-old stabbing victim apparently bled to death shortly before midnight Saturday after he tried to drive his car out of an apartment complex and crashed into a parked car, police said.
The victim, identified as Raymond Delgado Sanchez, was found in his car after residents of the apartment complex, in the 800 block of South Fairview Street, called police to report the collision in the parking lot, said Police Sgt. Bob Ensley.
Investigators believe that Sanchez was stabbed before he got into his vehicle, Ensley said. “With that kind of a wound, he couldn’t have gone too far,” he noted.
