WHAT’S THE RUSH?

I’m happy that you chose not to portray Rush Limbaugh as a lovable curmudgeon. In an era when intolerance and hate crimes are on the rise, this man foments bigotry, regardless of how he rationalizes it. He spits in the faces of parents who have lost children to AIDS, and he belittles anything that does not fit his own view of what’s right in the world. The next time he lies in bed watching sentimental movies and blubbering like a wounded walrus, he might also feel a pang of guilt for his contribution to the miseries of this world.
